Gold prices in Dubai have recovered from their recent dip below Dh500 per gram, rising by approximately Dh2 per gram on Wednesday morning.

The price of 24K gold was trading at Dh503.50 per gram, up from Dh501.25 per gram at the close of markets on Tuesday.

Naeem Aslam, chief investment officer at Zaye Capital Markets, attributed the initial pressure on bullion to higher Treasury yields, a firmer US dollar, and expectations that interest rates may remain restrictive for longer.

However, geopolitical uncertainty remains an important factor, with US President Donald Trump's latest economic remarks reinforcing the narrative of resilient US growth and strong employment.
