Dubai's gold prices are stabilizing after recent gains, but traders remain cautious due to inflation concerns. On Monday, 24-karat gold opened at Dh525 in Dubai, slightly lower than its previous close. Meanwhile, 22-karat gold is trading at Dh486.00, down by Dh2 from yesterday.

The global gold market also took a hit, with bullion dropping 0.5% to below $4,360 an ounce after posting a modest weekly gain. Traders are keeping a close eye on comments from US Federal Reserve policymakers, who may discuss the need for another rate hike this year to combat inflation that has remained above 2% for over five years.

Minneapolis Fed President Neel Kashkari noted that inflation is 'much beyond just oil prices, it's in all aspects of the economy.' This sentiment echoes comments from other policymakers, who are looking to address rising costs through monetary policy adjustments.
