Edouard Brings Rain to East Texas, Spares LNG Export Terminals

Tropical Storm Edouard made landfall in East Texas on Tuesday after initially threatening the Gulf Coast LNG export terminals. Feedgas nominations held steady at recent levels, with forecasters predicting that the storm's heaviest rains would fall west of the export complex.

The National Weather Service issued storm surge warnings for four terminals, while Golden Pass reduced its feedgas by 109 MMcf/d. Despite the disruption, national LNG demand remained steady near 19.1 Bcf/d.
