The Egyptian government has strongly condemned attacks on an oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia, describing them as a flagrant violation of international law.

The East-West Pipeline was targeted in the Riyadh and Medina regions, with several injuries reported. The pipeline was closed as a precautionary measure following multiple attacks from Iraq on September 10, 2026.

Egypt's Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement affirming its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia and supporting the Kingdom against any threats to its security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity.
