Egypt's Damietta Port Hit by Fire Amid Escalating Regional Tensions

The situation was handled immediately in accordance with emergency response plans, the oil ministry said. A blast reportedly occurred at the LNG terminal, which is operated by Inchcape, a maritime shipping service. A US-owned floating storage tanker at the port had been hit by a drone, according to British maritime security company Ambrey, but there has not been any claim of responsibility for the incident.
