EIA Confirms Azerbaijan Oil Production Forecast for 2026

The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has maintained its forecast for Azerbaijan's oil production in 2026, reporting no change from previous predictions. According to the EIA's Short-Term Energy Outlook, Azerbaijan is expected to produce 550,000 barrels of oil per day this year, with output projected at 540,000 barrels per day in both the third and fourth quarters.

The forecast for oil production in Azerbaijan remained unchanged from last month's predictions. In 2025, oil production averaged 570,000 barrels per day in the first and second quarters, while in the third and fourth quarters it stood at 560,000 barrels per day. The EIA also reported that production of liquid hydrocarbons in Azerbaijan reached 570,000 barrels per day last year.
