EIA Maintains Azerbaijan's 2026 Oil Production Forecast
The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) has maintained its forecast for Azerbaijan's oil production in 2026, according to a report by Report.az. The October Short-Term Energy Outlook from the EIA kept the estimate at 550,000 barrels per day for 2026, matching the previous month's projection. This year, the EIA expects Azerbaijan's oil output to average 550,000 barrels per day, with the same figure projected for both the third and fourth quarters. This marks an adjustment from the September forecast, which had anticipated 540,000 barrels per day for those quarters.
Looking ahead to 2025, the EIA forecasts a gradual increase in Azerbaijan's oil production. The first and second quarters are expected to average 570,000 barrels per day, rising to 580,000 barrels per day in the third quarter and reaching 590,000 barrels per day by the fourth quarter. Overall, the EIA projects Azerbaijan's liquid hydrocarbon production to average 570,000 barrels per day for the entire year of 2025.
