Eneos Shuts Down Key Refinery Unit Amid Global Oil Market Uncertainty
Japan's largest oil refiner Eneos has taken its Negishi refinery offline for scheduled maintenance, shutting down the 153,000 bpd crude distillation unit. This will impact operations until further notice.
The news comes at a time when global oil markets are already facing several challenges, including thin inventories and potential disruptions to Saudi Arabian oil flows. Goldman Sachs has warned that these factors could soon push Brent crude prices above $120 per barrel.
