Energia Expands Nigerian Oil and Gas Operations Amid Indigenous Growth Push
Energia Limited, an indigenous Nigerian exploration and production company, is expanding its oil and gas operations to increase field capacity to 20,000 barrels per day. The company has been operating in Nigeria's oil and gas industry for 25 years and has developed a 5,000-barrel-per-day crude distillation unit at Onshore Kwale, Delta State.
Energia currently has interests in the Ebendo/Obodeti field and has secured interests in the Ugbo and Irigbo marginal fields. The company is working to upgrade its existing field capacity to 20,000 barrels of oil per day and deepen its participation across the wider energy value chain.
The Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Energia, Oladimeji Bashorun, said the company's next phase would focus on operational performance, responsible energy development, innovation, and strategic growth. The company has a long history in Nigeria's oil and gas industry, achieving first oil from the Ebendo/Obodeti field in 2009.
