EQT is exploring the construction of a new pipeline to transport 1 billion cubic feet per day (Bcf/d) of Appalachian natural gas to growing demand markets in the Midwest, Southeast, and Gulf Coast. The proposed pipeline, which would run from Pennsylvania to Ohio, aims to pair Appalachian production with regional power generation needs.

The project comes in response to market interest, with EQT launching a non-binding open season for the pipeline. The service is targeted to be operational by 2030. This new infrastructure development reflects the ongoing shift towards natural gas as a preferred fuel source for power generation in these regions.
