Equinor Expands Asian LNG Presence with Long-Term Deal

Equinor has signed a long-term agreement to supply liquefied natural gas (LNG) to Thailand's PTTT, expanding its presence in Asia. This deal adds to PTTT's diversified LNG portfolio and is part of Equinor's efforts to grow its position in the global LNG market.

Equinor recently received its first cargo under separate supply agreements with Cheniere Energy, which are expected to help the company double its LNG portfolio by 2030. The volumes covered by those agreements will reach 3.5 million tonnes per year.
