Equinor Secures 15-Year German Gas Supply Deal with Uniper

Equinor has signed a 15-year natural gas sales agreement with German energy company Uniper. The deal will supply over 30 TWh of natural gas to Germany annually, strengthening the country's long-term energy security through 2041.

The supply contract will run from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2041. The gas will be delivered at Trading Hub Europe (THE), Germany's central gas trading market. Pricing will be based on market conditions.

Equinor described the agreement as an extension of a commercial partnership that has supported German households and industrial users for decades. The company emphasized the importance of long-term gas contracts in European energy markets undergoing significant changes.
