EU Gas Supply Remains Stable Despite Low Storage Levels
The European Union's natural gas supply remains stable despite low storage levels, according to the Gas Coordination Group.
The group met this week to assess the current gas market situation and concluded that EU gas supply is secure.
However, European gas storage levels are at a historical low, with some major economies like Germany struggling to fill their storage sites.
As of September 24, gas storage sites in the EU were only 70% full, with Germany's vast storage facility just about 57% full.
