European wheat prices rose on Monday as hopes for a recovery in Black Sea exports faded due to ongoing Russia-Ukraine strikes.
December wheat on Euronext climbed 0.9 percent to EUR 243.75 (USD 279.63) per ton, while Chicago wheat jumped nearly 2 percent.
The attacks on ships and ports have virtually halted Russian and Ukrainian Black Sea exports, with volumes remaining well below normal levels.
