Explora Journeys Unveils LNG-Powered Luxury Cruise Ship EXPLORA III

Explora Journeys has welcomed its third luxury cruise ship, EXPLORA III, to its fleet. The vessel departed on its maiden voyage from Barcelona on August 4th and will sail through the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, Iceland, and Greenland.

The new ship is powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), making it the first in the Explora Journeys fleet to use lower-emission technology. The company has stated that it aims to reduce emissions while continuing its expansion.

EXPLORA III features 461 oceanfront suites, including two Owner's Residences with private steam rooms and expansive terraces designed by Patricia Urquiola. Public spaces have been redesigned, including a new double-height Lobby and expanded Conservatory Pool & Bar.
