ExxonMobil Rolls Out Awareness Campaign for Rovuma LNG Project Across Mozambique

ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada has launched an awareness campaign to educate communities across Mozambique about the Rovuma LNG Project. The project is a joint venture between ENH, CNPC, Eni, KOGAS, and XRG.

The campaign aims to raise awareness among students, professionals, and local communities about the project through informational sessions in six provinces: Cabo Delgado, Inhambane, Tete, Nampula, Sofala, and Maputo. The initiative highlights the growth of Mozambique's energy sector and encourages local participation in one of Africa's largest liquefied natural gas developments.

Johanna Boothey, ExxonMobil Moçambique, Limitada's Lead Country Manager and Chairperson, said, 'This initiative reflects ExxonMobil's commitment to promoting local content and ensuring that communities across Mozambique have access to information about the opportunities created by the Project.' The campaign follows a schedule of events in Pemba (September 9), Vilanculos (September 12), Tete (September 16), Nampula (September 19), Beira (September 23), and Maputo (October 1).
