Fastmarkets has issued a correction to its previously published assessments for the AG-CRN-0069 Corn FOB Argentina spot price, citing a procedural error. The corrections address two separate instances where the prices were inaccurately reported due to mismatches between the M1 and M2 contracts.
The first correction pertains to the price published on May 2, 2022, which was initially reported as $307 per tonne. Fastmarkets has now updated this to $312 per tonne, aligning it with the correct contract.
The second correction involves the price published on July 18, 2022, which was initially reported as $255.25 per tonne. This has been adjusted to $256.75 per tonne to reflect the accurate contract.
Fastmarkets has updated its pricing database to incorporate these corrections. The AG-CRN-0069 Corn FOB Argentina spot price is part of Fastmarkets’ Grains package.
