First Majestic Silver Posts Record Q2 Revenue, Treasury Surges
First Majestic Silver Corp. has reported its strongest second-quarter results in history, reflecting the company's ability to navigate the current market conditions and capitalize on opportunities.
The silver sector has seen renewed interest from retail investors as prices hold above key technical levels despite elevated interest rates. First Majestic delivered unaudited revenue of US$415.5 million for the three months ended June 30, 2026, up 57% year over year, driven by higher realized silver and gold prices.
The company's operations have been boosted by strong performances at its La Encantada and Santa Elena mines, as well as attributable output from the Los Gatos operation. Net earnings reached US$109.4 million, or US$0.22 per share, compared with US$52.5 million, or US$0.11 per share, a year earlier.
First Majestic has also made significant strides in its capital allocation strategy, repurchasing and canceling 1.2 million shares for US$22.7 million under its buyback program. The company ended the quarter with record liquidity, including working capital of US$876 million and total liquidity above US$1.03 billion when credit facilities are included.
