Florida's gas prices have taken a slight reprieve from rising oil costs. According to AAA, the state average fell by 1 cent per gallon last week, dropping from $3.88 on Sunday, March [insert month], to $3.87 per gallon yesterday. This marks a 2-cent decrease from Saturday but still remains 79 cents higher than this time last year.

'Florida drivers saw a little relief at the pump last week, even as oil prices moved higher,' said Mark Jenkins, spokesman for AAA - The Auto Club Group. However, he cautioned that if crude oil remains elevated, drivers could see renewed upward pressure at the pump.
