Florida Gas Prices Skyrocket 21 Cents in One Week
Florida drivers are facing higher gas prices after a sharp increase of 21 cents in just one week. According to AAA, Friday's state average was around $4.33 per gallon, the highest daily price since May 2026.
The surge in gas prices is driven by rising crude oil costs, with tensions in the Middle East contributing to uncertainty over global oil supplies and upward pressure on fuel costs nationwide.
Prices dropped slightly during the weekend, settling at $4.30 per gallon on Sunday, but remain significantly higher than last year's average of $3.14 per gallon.
