The price of flour in Peshawar has increased by Rs100 to reach Rs3,000 for a 20kg bag. This hike follows a rise in diesel prices, which led to higher transport fares.

As a result, food items have seen an increase in prices due to the higher transport costs. The price of a 20kg flour bag has risen from Rs2,900 to Rs3,000, while the per kilogram price has increased from Rs145 to Rs150.

Flour dealers are already facing difficulties due to rising wheat prices in the country. They claim that the increase in transport fares has made business conditions more challenging.
