GAIL Partners with North Eastern Railway on Piped Natural Gas Expansion

GAIL Varanasi has signed an MoU with North Eastern Railway (NER) to supply domestic piped natural gas (PNG) to railway residential quarters in Varanasi.

The agreement was signed by Shri Ashish Jain, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM), NER, and Shri Sushil Kumar, General Manager, GAIL Varanasi. The MoU aims to connect approximately 700 railway residential quarters to GAIL's PNG network.

Shri Sushil Kumar briefed the attendees on the status of PNG connections in Varanasi, highlighting it as a safe, convenient, and reliable fuel for households.
