GE Vernova Secures Contract for High-Voltage Equipment at Venture Global LNG Facility

GE Vernova's Electrification and Electrification businesses have landed a contract to supply high-voltage equipment and an energy management system (EMS) to Venture Global LNG's Plaquemines liquefied natural gas facility in Louisiana.

The contract, which includes the design, engineering, delivery, and commissioning of 145 kV gas-insulated switchgear, integrated protection and control systems, and high-voltage power transformers, marks GE Vernova's second project with Venture Global LNG after supplying equipment for Calcasieu Pass, the company's first LNG facility.

The combined HV equipment and EMS will enable the efficient distribution of power to load centers throughout the gas liquefaction process. According to Philippe Piron, CEO of GE Vernova's Electrification business, this contract demonstrates customers' trust in their advanced power systems and solutions that allow operators to power their LNG facilities safely, efficiently, and reliably.
