Gas prices in Glendale have seen a spike at conventional stations, according to AAA Arizona's latest report. The average price per gallon has risen by 2 cents over the past week, reaching $4.44. This increase is attributed to crude oil prices remaining higher than normal for this time of year, despite a decrease in gasoline demand.

Aldo Vazquez, spokesperson for AAA Mountain West Group, notes that this August's national gasoline average has surpassed previous records. Gas prices have increased by 4 cents in the state, settling at $4.40 per gallon.
