Crude oil prices have taken a hit globally, with Brent crude slipping to $93.08 per barrel in New York's trading sessions on Monday.

This decline comes amidst weak global trends and is accompanied by a drop in West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude, which has fallen 1.79% to trade at $85.50 per barrel.

According to analysts, the prices have fallen due to participants offloading their holdings amid weak demand in the spot market.
