The GIFT Nifty, an indicator of the Nifty50's performance, was trading higher, hinting at a positive start to the day. The Sensex and Nifty50 are expected to open on a high note due to global equities advancing after bond yields declined.

Asian markets rose as bond yields fell following the US announcement to buy back longer-dated Treasury notes to bring down borrowing costs. South Korea's Kospi surged 6% while Japan's Nikkei 225 was up 1.3%. Overnight, the Dow Jones Industrial Average and S&P 500 rose 0.22% and 0.21%, respectively.

Brent crude prices extended gains to a fifth day as tensions rose after US President Donald Trump said there would be an unprecedented economic warfare operation against Iran. This led to Brent crude's October futures reaching $92.08 per barrel on the Intercontinental Exchange, up 0.53%.
