The global market experienced a slight increase in equity indices and bond yields on Wednesday, driven by inflation data from the US.

The MSCI's global equities gauge rose 0.04% to 1,150.06, while the pan-European STOXX 600 index finished close to flat, down 0.01%.

However, oil prices settled lower after a choppy session, with US crude falling 0.16% or $13 cents to $82.23 a barrel, and Brent settling at $87.84 per barrel, down 0.84% or $74 cents.

Investors were also awaiting Nvidia's earnings report, which could provide insight into the company's commentary on the financing of the AI spending boom.
