Godrej Industries Group recently hosted a high-level Malaysian delegation led by YB Datuk Seri Dr Noraini Ahmad, Minister of Plantation and Commodities, Malaysia. The meeting aimed to explore opportunities for cooperation in oil palm research, innovation, trade, and the household insecticides sector.

The discussions with Godrej Agrovet focused on using research, technology, and scientific tools to develop high-performing oil palm varieties suited to India's different agro-climatic conditions. This collaboration could help improve productivity and resilience in oil palm cultivation while supporting India's efforts to strengthen domestic edible oil production.

The Malaysian delegation also met with Godrej Consumer Products Limited to discuss opportunities in the household insecticides sector. They explored ways to support industry growth, facilitate trade, encourage innovation, and promote sustainable development.
