Gold and Silver Futures See Significant Gains in India
Gold prices surged to Rs 1,50,111 per 10 grams in futures trade on Wednesday, rising by Rs 1,288 or 0.87 percent.
The increase was attributed to speculators creating fresh positions on firm spot demand.
The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) saw a business turnover of 1,092 lots for the December delivery contract.
Analysts noted that market participants' fresh positions led to the rise in prices.
