Gold and Silver Prices Close Mixed on Tuesday
Gold and silver futures closed mixed on Tuesday, following the trend of international markets.
The New York Mercantile Exchange saw gold futures for December delivery drop by 0.17% to settle at $4,376.40 per ounce. Meanwhile, silver futures for December delivery rose by 0.17% to close at $66.53 per ounce.
This mixed performance was echoed in European stock markets, where the FTSE 100 index dropped by 0.29% to finish at 10,708.33 points. The CAC 40 and DAX indices showed a more positive trend, gaining 0.20% and rising 0.02%, respectively.
