Gold and Silver Prices Decline in India on September 29
Gold and silver prices fell in India on September 29, 2026. According to market rates, 24-carat gold is priced at around ₹1.48 lakh per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is around ₹1.36 lakh per 10 grams. The price of 18-carat gold stands at approximately ₹1.11 lakh per 10 grams in most major cities.
Silver prices also declined, with a kg costing around ₹2.40 lakh across various cities. The rates vary slightly depending on the location, but generally, silver and gold prices have decreased.
The city-wise rates for gold are as follows: Chennai (24K Gold: ₹1,49,080 per 10 grams), Mumbai (24K Gold: ₹1,48,800 per 10 grams), Delhi (24K Gold: ₹1,48,950 per 10 grams), and so on. Similarly, the rates for silver are as follows: Chennai (Silver: ₹2,45,000 per kg), Mumbai (Silver: ₹2,40,000 per kg), Delhi (Silver: ₹2,40,000 per kg).
