Gold and Silver Prices Decline in Local Market
The prices of gold and silver have declined in the local market, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association. The price of hallmark gold has fallen by Rs 1,800 per tola compared to last Friday, while silver has dropped by Rs 45 per tola.
Currently, hallmark gold is being traded at Rs 283,200 per tola and silver at Rs 4,315 per tola. This marks a significant decline from last Friday's prices of Rs 285,000 per tola for hallmark gold and Rs 4,360 per tola for silver.
The international market has also seen fluctuations, with gold trading at around US$4,063 per ounce and silver at about US$58 per ounce. The local market's decline is consistent with these trends, suggesting a broader market shift rather than isolated price drops.
