Gold and Silver Prices Fall Amid Rising Oil and Treasury Yields
Spot gold prices fell to $4,265.30 per ounce on Thursday, down 0.48% from the previous session.
The decline in gold was attributed to climbing oil prices and higher Treasury yields, which outweighed any safe-haven bid related to the U.S.-Iran conflict.
Silver also fell, dropping 1.34% to $63.470 per ounce.
The Fed's rate hike odds increased, with a 70% probability of an additional 25-basis-point hike in October, according to rate futures.
