Gold and Silver Prices Plummet in Pakistani Market
The prices of gold in Pakistan's local market saw a decline on Tuesday. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs1,800 to settle at Rs455,736.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs1,543 to Rs390,720, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs1,414 to Rs358,173.
In the international market, the price of gold fell by $18 to $4,332 per ounce. The association also reported a decrease in silver prices, with silver per tola falling by Rs62 to settle at Rs7,038 and 10 grams of silver dropping by Rs54 to stand at Rs6,033.
The international market saw a decline in the price of silver as well, with it settling at $65.60 per ounce after falling by $0.62.
