Gold and Silver Prices Stabilize Amid Volatility
Gold and silver prices have been volatile in recent months due to changes in US interest rate expectations, a stronger dollar, geopolitical tensions, and higher crude oil prices.
Despite correcting from their highs, experts believe that the medium- to long-term outlook remains supportive for both metals.
NS Ramaswamy, Head of Commodity & CRM at Ventura, said that softer-than-expected US employment data supported gold, while the Iran conflict continued to drive volatility in prices.
Gold and silver have been under pressure due to higher US rate expectations, rising real yields, and a stronger dollar. However, they continue to hold important support levels, with silver also benefiting from industrial demand and a structural supply deficit.
