Bullion prices rose on August 20 due to higher crude and US-Iran conflict concerns.

The COMEX gold futures were up 0.22% to $4,555.50 per ounce at 03:47 AM GMT, while silver jumped 2.05% to $67.17 per ounce during the morning trade.

The LBMA spot gold price stood at $4,460.70 per ounce in the PM fixing on August 19.

Domestically, the MCX spot gold recovered towards Rs 1,54,300 per 10 grams on Wednesday.

The market remains cautious due to higher crude prices and uncertainty over US-Iran developments, with sentiment expected to remain volatile amid geopolitical tensions driving safe-haven demand.
