Gold and Silver Prices Surge in Local Market Amid Steady Demand
The local market in Kathmandu has seen an increase in prices for gold and silver. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of spot gold has risen by Rs 1,500 per tola since Thursday.
Currently, the price of spot gold is at Rs 294,800 per tola, while the price of the same amount of silver is Rs 4,450. On Thursday, the prices were Rs 293,300 and Rs 4,425, respectively.
This represents an increase of Rs 1,500 for gold and Rs 25 for silver in a short period of time. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers has reported these changes.
