Gold Bounces Off Three-Week Lows

Gold prices ended their three-week losing streak on Friday, closing at $4,378.39 per ounce after a daily gain of 0.84%. This move marked gold's first weekly increase since late August and retraced about 3% of the distance from Wednesday's low near $4,235.

The recovery was broad across precious metals, with spot silver rising 1.59% to $66.26, platinum gaining 1.72% to $1,803, and palladium adding 0.69% to $1,304.

Gold ETFs recorded eight consecutive sessions of net inflows, the longest streak since October 2025, with total holdings at a seven-month high.
