Gold Consolidates Near $4,441 as VC PMI Support Holds
Gold prices continue to consolidate near $4,441, maintaining support from the daily VC PMI mean of $4,451. The market has successfully defended two key levels: the Daily Buy 1 at $4,406 and the Daily Buy 2 at $4,372.
This bullish structure is expected to hold as long as prices remain above the Buy 1 support level. A sustained close above the daily mean of $4,451 opens up the possibility of a test of the Daily Sell 1 near $4,485 and the Daily Sell 2 around $4,520.
On the weekly timeframe, resistance remains at Weekly Sell 1 ($4,524) followed by Weekly Sell 2 ($4,648). These levels represent statistically extreme areas where mean reversion is likely to occur. From a Square of 9 perspective, the market continues to respect harmonic resistance around $4,495, $4,520.
Gold remains in the advancing phase of its current intermediate cycle and is approaching an important timing window during the second half of August. Traders are advised to monitor for increased volatility as price interacts with both VC PMI resistance levels and Square of 9 harmonic targets.
