Gold Dips as Stronger Dollar and Rising Yields Weigh

Gold prices saw a slight decline on Tuesday, influenced by a stronger US dollar and rising Treasury yields. Spot gold dropped by 0.3 percent, reaching $4,128.83 per ounce by 04:00 GMT.

Other precious metals also experienced losses. Spot silver fell by 0.6 percent to $60.69 per ounce, while platinum and palladium each declined by 0.5 percent, settling at $1,712.20 and $1,166.86 respectively.
