Gold Dips, Silver Rises Amid Mixed Markets

International gold and silver prices closed mixed on Monday. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold futures for December delivery fell 0.40 percent to settle at $4,090.50 per ounce.

Silver futures for September delivery gained 0.12 percent to close at $57.856 per ounce.

Shanghai handled 253,000 departure tax refund transactions in the first half of this year, ranking it first nationwide and posting a nearly 300 percent year-on-year increase.
