Gold dips while silver and platinum rise on NYMEX

In contrast, silver and platinum saw gains. Silver rose by 1.48%, reaching $60.87 per troy ounce, while platinum climbed 1.11% to $1,718.90 per troy ounce. The trading activity took place across NYMEX’s two divisions: NYMEX handles commodities like oil, gas, and platinum, while COMEX covers metals such as gold, silver, copper, and aluminum.
