Gold Falls ₹280, Silver Drops ₹1,150 as Bullion Market Remains Under Pressure
The prices of gold and silver took a hit on September 25 as they declined in the latest trading update. The price of 10 grams of gold dropped to ₹1,51,300 after falling by ₹280, representing a decrease of approximately 0.18% from the previous level.
Silver also witnessed a fall, with the price of one kilogram decreasing to ₹2,32,890, down by ₹1,150. This represents a decline of about 0.49% compared to the previous day's rate.
The movement in gold and silver prices is influenced by various domestic and international factors, including global bullion prices, movements in the US dollar, currency fluctuations, interest-rate expectations, and investor demand. The rupee-dollar exchange rate also plays a significant role for Indian buyers as internationally traded precious metals are generally priced in US dollars.
