Gold Falls on US-Iran Tensions as Price Outlook Remains Bullish
Gold prices have fallen on September 21 due to escalating US-Iran tensions. The price of gold declined by 0.53% in the international market, according to Comex data, and was trading at around $4,401.30 per ounce.
Silver prices also fell, declining 0.48% to around $66.825 per ounce. The volatility in precious metals is attributed to continued uncertainty following recent Federal Reserve interest rate decisions.
Despite the decline, experts believe that gold's future prospects look positive. Jefferies has projected that gold could cross $10,000 per ounce in the coming months, which could translate into a significantly higher price in the Indian market.
