Gold Falls to ₹1.58 Lakh, Silver Surges ₹600
Gold prices continued their downward trend for the second consecutive day in the National Capital. The price of gold fell by ₹2,150 to ₹1,58,100 per 10 grams on September 9, 2026. This decline is attributed to a weak market trend globally.
The yellow metal's value decreased by ₹2,150 from the previous session's closing price of ₹1,60,250 per 10 grams. The All India Sarafa Association reported this price drop.
However, silver prices saw an increase of ₹600 to ₹2,41,100 per kilogram on the same day. This rise marks a resumption of the upward momentum that had stalled for two previous sessions.
