Gold Falters Near Seven-Week Low, Bounces Back

Gold prices stabilized near their lowest level in over seven weeks on Tuesday.

The precious metal had hit its lowest point since August 5th in the previous session, but managed to recover slightly.

Spot gold remained relatively unchanged at $4,124.57 per ounce as of 01:40 GMT.

US gold futures dropped by 0.3 percent to $4,156.70.
