Gold Futures Face Crucial Test at 4,432

Gold futures are trading in a bullish zone, according to recent analysis. The market remains constructive while prices hold above the 4,370-4,382 support cluster. However, 4,432 is the first major upside test where profit-taking, hesitation, or a confirmed breakout could emerge.

A move above this level that holds could activate the bullish continuation scenario. Traders may prefer evidence of acceptance, such as a 30-minute close above the level, sustained trade above it, or a successful retest, rather than reacting to the first tick through resistance.

UBS maintains a long-term $5,000 price target for gold, noting that while near-term crude spikes pose a risk, falling real yields and structural central bank demand provide a strong floor. China extended its gold reserve purchases for a 21st straight month, demonstrating persistent sovereign demand even amidst ongoing geopolitical friction.
