Gold Futures Jump Rs 803 in New Delhi Trade
New Delhi - Gold prices rose by Rs 803 to Rs 1.51 lakh per 10 grams in futures trade on Wednesday, driven by firm spot demand and fresh positions created by market participants.
The Multi Commodity Exchange saw a business turnover of 775 lots for the October delivery contract, which traded at Rs 1,51,612 per 10 grams, up 0.53% from the previous day.
The rise in gold prices is attributed to increased demand and speculative buying, with analysts noting that fresh positions by market participants led to the price increase.
