Gold Futures Rise 1.5% on MCX Amid Global Cues
Gold futures on the MCX jumped for the second straight session on August 5, rising by Rs 2,165 to Rs 1.46 lakh per 10 grams.
The rally was driven by strong global cues, renewed safe-haven demand, a weaker US dollar, and easing inflation concerns.
Gaurav Garg, Head of Research at Lemonn Markets Desk, said that gold extended its gains due to investors increasing safe-haven buying following renewed geopolitical uncertainty and a weaker US dollar.
