Gold Futures Rise on Firm Spot Demand
Gold prices rose on the Multi Commodity Exchange due to firm spot demand and market participants creating fresh positions. The price of gold futures increased by Rs 115 to Rs 1.62 lakh per 10 grams in futures trade.
This rise was seen as speculators created new positions, analysts said. The gold futures contract for October delivery traded higher by 0.07% in 674 lots.
